YFW Blood Bikes Privacy Statement

At Freewheelers EVS (Yeovil ), also known as Yeovil Freewheelers and YFW Blood Bikes, we recognize the importance of protecting your personal information and are committed to processing it responsibly and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

  • Contacting individuals, riders, sponsors, partners, hospitals, care homes and suppliers

YFW Blood Bikes has implemented policies, along with standards and procedures, for consistent protection of personal information.

Where appropriate, YFW Blood Bikes will share your personal contact information with selected individuals, riders, sponsors, partners, hospitals, care homes and suppliers for the purposes of conducting charity business. Charity business means being on call, contacting hospitals or other delivery locations, performing deliveries and recording activities.

It is normal charity business to record riders’ locations or movements when on-call and these details may be recorded at delivery collection points or centrally or by registered charity representatives. We do this in order to promote your safety under lone worker protection schemes.

Please be aware that in certain circumstances, personal information may be subject to disclosure to government agencies pursuant to judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process. We may also share your personal information to protect the rights or property of YFW Blood Bikes, our business partners, suppliers or clients, and others when we have reasonable grounds to believe that such rights or property have been or could be affected.

 

Information Security and Accuracy

We intend to protect your personal information and to maintain its accuracy. YFW Blood Bikes   implements reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to help us protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure.
